Temperature changes

Averaged across calendar months, the difference in monthly mean temperature was +0.74 °C; this is an unweighted comparison of monthly means, not a day-weighted annual average or a measure of daytime highs. The largest monthly increase was in February, with a difference of +1.28 °C. By contrast, May had the largest monthly decrease, a difference of -0.54 °C. These monthly examples show that the overall mean difference does not describe every month individually.

Changes in rainfall
